Jonathan Newman specializes in a modern ITF tennis style, influenced by his renowned mentors such as the late Pauline Betz (former world no. 1 champion), distinguished coach Alex Mayer, world-renowned Dennis Van DeMeer, and accomplished player-coach Oscar Wegner. My coaching style revolves around developing a powerful forehand game, integrating shot combinations, and mastering strategic serve and return techniques. We prioritize enjoyment, fitness, discipline, and skill enhancement in my lessons, emphasizing the importance of learning shot combinations like forehand followed by approach shots or serve, approach, and volley sequences

Our Philosophy
At Royal Tuff Kidz, we believe that sports, especially tennis and soccer, challenge the mind, spirit, and emotions as much, if not more, than the body.

A Holistic Approach to Training
Drawing from our extensive experience in martial arts, we apply similar methodologies to our soccer and tennis training. With over 45 years of studying these sports, we've developed two sound teaching methods based on thorough research:
-
MTM Transformational Tennis Learning Method
-
Ajax/Coerver Training Methodology
These methods, along with transformational coaching from the Johan Cruyff Sports Training Institute in the Netherlands, have produced remarkable results.

Our Beliefs
At Royal Tuff Kidz, we believe that every student-athlete we train possesses talents and abilities far beyond what we initially see. Each student is uniquely and wonderfully created, and it is our mission to never limit their potential. Instead, we are here to accentuate and celebrate their talent and purpose.
-
Children Are Not Little Adults: We don't believe in pressuring kids to win at all costs. The motivation for participating in sports should come from enjoyment and personal growth.
-
High-Level Competition: Sports should be played at the highest level to enjoy, honor others, make friends, and develop both individual and team skills.
-
Balancing Fun and Intensity: Our programs strive to balance enjoyment with intensity and skill-building, ensuring athletes develop holistically.

Nurturing Potential
At Royal Tuff Kidz, we recognize that every student athlete possesses talents and abilities far beyond what we might initially see. We believe each student is uniquely and wonderfully created, and we are committed to never limiting their potential. Our mission is to accentuate and celebrate their talents and purpose.

A Fail-Safe Training Environment
Royal Tuff Kidz provides a safe environment where kids and adult students can make mistakes and learn from them. We stand by our students, believing in them and working with them through their struggles, fostering a culture of resilience and growth.
Vision & Dream
My vision and lifetime dream is to create a world-class soccer and tennis school where many young players will find their dreams to be players of distinction with HONOR AND RESPECT.
